加工強(qiáng)化也稱(chēng)冷作硬化，就是鋁板在再結(jié)晶溫度以下冷變形加工如鑄造、壓延、拉拔、拉伸等，冷變形時(shí)，鋁板內(nèi)部位錯(cuò)密度增大，且彼此纏結(jié)并構(gòu)成胞狀結(jié)構(gòu)，阻止位錯(cuò)運(yùn)動(dòng)。

在一般鋁板中固溶強(qiáng)化較常用的合金元素是銅、鎂、錳、鋅、硅、鎳等元素。一般鋁板的合金化都構(gòu)成有限的固溶體，如Al-Cu，Al-Mg，Al-Zn，Al-Si，Al-Mn等二元合金均構(gòu)成有限固溶體，而且都有較大的極限溶解度能起較大的固溶強(qiáng)化效果。
Copper, magnesium, manganese, zinc, silicon and nickel are the most commonly used alloying elements in solution strengthening of general aluminium sheets. Generally, the alloying of aluminium sheets constitutes a limited solid solution, such as Al-Cu, Al-Mg, Al-Zn, Al-Si, Al-Mn binary alloys, which constitute a limited solid solution, and have a greater limit solubility to play a greater solid solution strengthening effect.
通過(guò)強(qiáng)化的鋁板，其硬度功能都會(huì)得到顯著提升，但是其硬度無(wú)法一向提升下去；當(dāng)達(dá)到硬度上限的時(shí)分，不管何種辦法，都無(wú)法繼續(xù)進(jìn)步鋁板的硬度，只能選擇基礎(chǔ)硬度就更高的牌號(hào)。
